Experience one of Del Dotto’s flagship Cabernet Sauvignons with Del Dotto Villa Del Lago 2023 “The Beauty” Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml. Produced from the family’s 20-acre Villa Del Lago estate on Pritchard Hill in Napa Valley, this remarkable wine represents a more elegant counterpart to Del Dotto’s powerful “The Beast” Cabernet Sauvignon.
Known as “The Beauty,” Villa Del Lago combines extraordinary concentration with a softer, more fruit-forward personality. The vineyard’s west-facing slopes, rocky clay-loam soils, and cooling evening influence from nearby Lake Hennessey help produce Cabernet with both tremendous depth and refinement. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and aged for 18–24 months in 100% new French oak, this is a world-class Napa Cabernet designed to deliver impressive richness today while possessing the structure for extended cellar aging.
Tasting Notes:
The nose is concentrated and expressive with layers of blackberry, black cherry, cassis, dark plum, violet, vanilla, and refined French oak.
The palate delivers a massive yet polished mouthfeel, combining ripe black and red fruit with dark chocolate, graphite, baking spice, and beautifully integrated oak. Despite its concentration, the wine maintains an elegant, fruit-forward character with refined tannins and a long, persistent finish.
